Game Map has ads?

I'm seeing reports about this, which I really don't understand. There are no ads in the map view. Can anyone comment on this?

Hmm... there are ads in the globe view (accessed through using the globe button). I suppose that may be confusing some users, since the globe view previously did not have any ads (just unusable buttons except for the exit button).

no adds for me. i have played it through a few more times and have never seen an add on the map
