All of the above.

This last weekend I had to attend Arcon to run a boardgames tournament, so that cut into development time. I also needed to finish some work on BHR for the Chinese localization. And then it just - in general - takes a lot of time to test all the changes that I have implemented in 1.2.0. I've rebuilt the core structure of the game engine, which will hopefully eliminate the weird "reset game" bug that some players have encountered, but it also means a lot of new bugs.

I hope to have the new version in place this week. Will probably be a lot of bug fixing after that.  :P

You can always check the roadmap, btw. I try to keep it up to date.

Finding time to do development really is the hardest part, isn't it?  My own Android game is still very preliminary, and between work, wife and kids, my best time for development is on the bus/tram to and from work during the week.

Still, the roadmap looks like 1.2 isn't far off!

At the risk of delaying things, I have another suggestion :)  When you're populating the random cargo of a merchant ship, it would be cool if you checked the local port (if there is one) and if it has a surplus or a shortage of a particular good, have a chance that the ship will be carrying that good.

The rationale is that if it's a surplus, the ship is leaving with a hold full of the cheap good, and if it's a shortage the ship is arriving with that good hoping to make a profit.

The gameplay effect is that rumours about surplusses/shortages in foreign nations' cities are of interest even when you've managed to infuriate every nation but your own, because you can still take advantage of the information by lurking outside the city.

Could certainly be useful, but installing the raw apk will wipe your existing gameplay info everytime (as you need to uninstall/reinstall), so I wouldn't ask it.
