Hi all,
I have recently set up an on-line bibliography for literature about Hellenistic and Roman history on this website:
Hellenistic/Roman Bibliographyor
Under History >> Bibliography
This is a web database that allows you to list, search, and select on books, articles, and any other material in the database. You need to be registered and logged on in order to edit or insert new material; but in principle anyone has access to the system. It is possible to make personal "slices" of the master bibliography, as well as add comments, musings, notes and other annotations on the individual bibliography entries.
I have only just begun to add material from my library to the bibliography (only 30 entries so far), but more will come as I get the time. Since this is intended as a Wiki site however (see en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wiki for explanation), the hope is that others find this interesting enough to add material from their own libraries so that we can build up a general ressource.
Please take a look at the system, and please feel free to let me know any comments/ideas/suggestions you might have. Also, if it has any interests, feel free to add entries to the bibliography.
Regards,
Michael A.
