Imperium is a game system set in the ancient Hellenistic world. In it, the player will take on the role of a powerful family, and try to guide his or her ancient state to victory. You decide the destiny of the great powers as you preside over the rise (or fall) of Rome. Our aim with Imperium is to develop a game that "easy to learn, hard to master"; where the gameplay is simple enough to be instantly accessible, but the strategies provide a rich, historical decision-space.
MicaByte is dedicated to creating games that enlighten as well as entertain. The goal is to create simple turn based strategy games with an epic scope. If you find these types of games interesting then join the forums, give us feedback, tell your friends about us, and chat us up on your favorite message boards.
